Please note our field visit to Prehistoric Pals at the Royal Alberta Museum has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 5th due to museum maintenance.  The times of our visit remain the same.

I will have volunteer sign up sheets posted tomorrow in the classroom.  Please sign up for no more than two field visits to ensure all parents wanting to volunteer get an opportunity to do so.

Thank you for your understanding!

I am wondering if a family would like to take our classroom pet frogs home over the winter break?  They are very easy to care for - you only need to feed them pellets twice a week.

I am pleased to announce that the librarians at the HT Coutts Library have invited us back for a winter read-in session!  We will be visiting the library on Wednesday, December 19th so the librarians can read us their favourite winter stories.
The morning class will go from 10:00 - 10:30 and the afternoon class will go from 1:30 - 2:00.

This afternoon an undergraduate drama class came for a visit.  We watched them perform 'storyacting' to a variety of Robert Munsch books.  The actors did not rehearse any of their acting, instead they improvised as the story was read aloud.  The children (and adults) giggled throughout the entire performance!  Here are some photos of the students performing Thomas' Snowsuit, 50 Below Zero, and Makeup Mess
